Refund policy

At Hommgen, we want you to love your new furniture. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read this policy before placing your order.

30-Day Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of the date your order was delivered. To be eligible, the item must be:

Unused, unassembled or carefully disassembled, and free of stains, odours, pet hair or damage
In its original packaging, with all parts, hardware, cushions, covers and accessories
Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

We cannot accept items that show signs of use, wear, misuse or damage caused after delivery.

How to Start a Return

Email us at contact@hommgen.com with your order number, the item you want to return and the reason. Our team will reply within 1–2 business days with return approval and instructions, including the return address.

Please do not send items back without an approved return request. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted or refunded.

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Because furniture is large and heavy, return shipping can be significant. We are happy to give you an estimate before you send anything back.

If your item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect, Hommgen covers the return shipping cost.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@hommgen.com. Include:

Your order number
Clear photos or a short video of the issue
Photos of the outer packaging, if the item arrived damaged

Once we review your claim, we will offer a replacement part, a replacement item or a full refund, depending on the issue and stock availability.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to post the refund to your account.

If a partial return is approved for an item that is not in its original condition, a partial refund may be issued. We will always explain the reason before doing so.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order free of charge within 24 hours of purchase, as long as it has not yet shipped. Email contact@hommgen.com with your order number. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may return it under this policy.

Exchanges

If you would like a different colour, size or model, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges depend on stock availability and follow the same conditions as returns. If the item you want is unavailable, we will offer a refund instead.
